Not a fun track. A stripped-down acoustic ballad with haunting pedal steel accents courtesy of my old Headlights bandmate, Steve Connelly, it's a song replete with allusions to overindulgence and feelings of disillusionment; fleeting references to depression and mental exhaustion as fallout from living in fear of the dictatorial tendencies of our elected leaders. It’s all here for your enjoyment.
